Residential Framing
Framing is the part of your house nobody sees again once the drywall goes on, which is exactly why it has to be right the first time. We frame new houses, additions, and interior structural work to the drawings and to the Ontario Building Code, and we leave the job in a state the next trade can actually work in.

House framing
Floor systems, exterior walls, interior partitions, roof structure and sheathing for new builds and additions.

Structural walls
Load-bearing walls, beam pockets, posts, headers and openings framed to the structural drawings.

Partitions
Non-load-bearing interior walls, closet framing, bulkheads and service chases laid out from your plan.

Stairs
Stair openings, stringers, risers and treads cut to consistent rise and run so the finish carpentry lands clean.

Framing progress work
Taking over or finishing a partly framed job, correcting layout, and getting the structure back on plan.
How this one runs
The sequence matters here — doing these out of order is how a job ends up being done twice.

Drawings and layout
We read the plan against the actual site, mark the plates, and flag anything that will not build as drawn before we start cutting.
- 02
Plates and walls
Bottom plates fixed, walls built, stood, plumbed and braced. Studs on consistent centres so every sheet lands on framing.
- 03
Structure and openings
Beams, posts, headers and rough openings set to the drawings, with bearing checked at every point that carries load.
- 04
Sheathing and inspection
Sheathing and bracing on, the frame checked square and plumb, and the job left ready for framing inspection.
